EFTW facilitators come from all backgrounds: leaders at non-profit organizations, teachers in the classroom and Program Coordinators in community spaces! If this sounds like you, see our checklist to see what you need to become a facilitator.

TECH CONNECTIONS

The opportunity for your learners to speak with a Facebook engineer through a 45-minute video call.

CERTIFICATE

All learners who complete EFTW will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Facebook.

The chance for your learners' projects to be entered to win our Impact Award, $1,000 to donate to a non-profit of their choice.

Introduction to Engineer for the Week

What is Engineer for the Week? During this webinar, Facebook program staff  will explain how EFTW works. You will learn about our two project offerings - Chatbots for Change and Play for Impact, the project requirements and the program timeline.

During this webinar, returning EFTW facilitators and Facebook program staff will show you how to set up Facebook pages that would host the chatbots your students create. We will also explore the resources available to you to run the program.
